Balancing Georgian elegance with modern practicality .
Elements Studio was appointed to collaborate with Wraxall Builders and Hetreed Ross Architects on the extensive renovation of this magnificent four-story Georgian townhouse in central Bath.

Our primary brief was to design, supply, and install a substantial package of architectural storage pieces. Full-height fitted bookshelves, wardrobes, and a bespoke linen cabinet were designed with solid timber doors, oak carcasses, solid oak drawer boxes, and integrated lighting. Hand-painted on-site, the final pieces respect the property’s original Georgian proportions while embracing a fresh, modern aesthetic.

Additionally, we stepped outside the cabinetry scope of the project to assist the groundworks and masonry team. We led the technical design of a floating, cast-in-situ exposed aggregate concrete staircase. By designing and supplying a temporary, CNC-fabricated formwork, we enabled the team to achieve a complex single-pour cast, delivering a contemporary concrete finish that beautifully complements the Bath stone rubble and ashlar walls.
