Elements Studio

Introduced to the project by Wraxall Builders, Elements Studio was tasked with helping a client realise a long-held dream: the final conversion of a beautiful, Listed barn in Wiltshire.
Working alongside the client, a professional interior designer, we were appointed to design, manufacture, and install three key interior elements. Our challenge was to deliver bespoke, high-end technical solutions within a tight timeframe, ensuring every element respected the building’s heritage while serving a modern family.

The Feature Staircase
At the heart of the home is a curved, solid ash and factory-finished plywood staircase. Designed to feel weightless and sculptural, the structure allows light to pass through and around it, with only the central ash-clad core rooting it to the floor.

The Scullery Pantry
For the back kitchen, we leaned into a traditional "scullery" feel with a rich ox-blood red palette and honed slate tops. However, modern life is catered for through integrated handles, a stainless steel Belfast sink, and a dedicated appliance dresser.

The Laundry & Plant Room
We believe functional spaces should be beautiful. To brighten a central corridor, we installed vibrant yellow, batten-fronted cabinetry. This single, elegant installation cleverly conceals the home’s plant equipment, laundry appliances, and cleaning storage, ensuring the "engine room" of the home remains as sophisticated as the living spaces.
